Guest: Greta

CFRU volunteer Brady and I were lucky enough to be introduced to Greta, and convince her to share her beautiful stories with us.  Greta has been typing out stories from her life, mainly from her time growing up in post-war Germany, and for this episode she is reading a few of them to us.  These stories are a snap shot of life in a time and place I’ve not heard a lot about, Germany during that time is mainly framed in war stories, but alongside that were young women just trying to figure out how to have an ordinary life.  Greta is “German by blood, Swiss by Marriage, Canadian by choice”.  I hope you like her stories as much as I do.
