Guests: Three women who live at the Village of Riverside Glen Retirement Home

For my first day recording at the Village of Riverside Glen I was lucky enough to have three guests.  These three women came through the Hobby Room where the mobile studio was set up, arriving to play a game of “Card Bingo”.  One woman was celebrating her 90th birthday, and told me of her days working in a bridal shop.  One woman grew up a “foundling child” and met her husband while out dancing, during her days working at a factory at the end of World War II.  The third woman told me a beautiful story about her first adopted child arriving to her at Christmas.  It was a wonderful way to start my time at Riverside Glen.  I hope you enjoy their stories as much as I do.
