Guests: Jory and Krista (Coordinators of “The Polar Bear Club”)

One afternoon I was set up to record the Indigo Girls Group, and at the last minute they couldn’t make it.  Coincidentally, that same afternoon Jory and Krista were setting up to enrol students for Brant’s “Polar Bear Club” – an after school program for youth in the Brant neighbourhood.  I convinced them to come chat with me during the breaks, and we reflected on the value of volunteering and community.  Jory is also an aspiring children’s author, with his first book hopefully being released within the next year.
